Dr. Stephanie Hughes - Principal
Education: I hold a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education from the University of North Texas, a Master's Degree in Educational Leadership from University of Texas at Arlington, and a Doctorate in Educational Leadership from Baylor University.
Experience: I began my career at Fort Worth ISD in 1999 as an 8th grade math teacher at Forest Oak Middle School. I then served as an Assistant Principal at Springdale Elementary School from 2000-2005, and as Principal at Bonnie Brae Elementary School from 2005-2011.
I am excited about the opportunity to work with the staff, students, parents and community of Lily B. Clayton.

Education: Earned a Bachelor's Degree from Texas Wesleyan University, a Master's Degree in Educational Administration at Texas Christian University and a Master's of Science in School Counseling from Texas Wesleyan University.
Experience: I began my teaching career in Fort Worth ISD at Manuel Jara Elementary in 2006, where I taught 2nd and 3rd Grade bilingual classes. In 2010, I joined the staff at Cesar Chavez Elementary where I served as their counselor for seven years. I joined Lily B Clayton as Assistant Principal in 2017.

Roberto Amaya - Asst Principal
Lara Bradshaw - Librarian
Education: B.S. in Early Childhood Education and Elementary Education from Texas Christian University. Master's degree in Library Science (MLS) from Texas Woman's University.Experience: Over the years I’ve taught all grades from Pre-K to 5th and began as librarian in 2018. I grew up in Fort Worth and graduated from Lily B.! Bio: I love working with children and watching them grow and learn. I enjoy learning new things and hope to instill in my students a love for learning.
Hobbies: Some of my hobbies are reading, cooking, gardening, and TCU football-GO FROGS!

Experience: I have been a school counselor since 2011, starting with my internship at Wedgwood 6th grade campus. I was a school counselor at Faith Family Academy-Oak Cliff in Dallas and a high school counselor at OD Wyatt. I previously taught English at North Side High School from 2007-2010.

Kara Conner - Secretary
Education: I grew up in Fort Worth and graduated from Southwest High School in 1986. I have an Associates in Business degree from TCC. I worked in Medical research and clinical setting for 25 years.
Hobbies: Interesting facts about myself are: My husband and I do Bee rescue and we love our Bees. Also, Dr. Hughes and I have been friends and have grown up together since Kindergarten.

Education: I graduated from Texas A&M University in 2011 with a B. S. in Allied Health. I then went on to nursing school at Texas A&M Health Science Center and graduated with my B.S.N. in 2013.
Experience: Upon graduating nursing school, I went on to work as a nurse in the NICU at Cook Children’s where I stayed for 6.5 years before deciding to make a change to school nursing. That is what is so awesome about being a nurse!
Hobbies: I love to run and workout. I have run 4 half marathons, and just completed my first marathon in December of 2019. My Golden Retriever “Olsen” keeps me very active and busy. I have one brother who gave me two sweet nieces who I love to spend my weekends with.
