Greetings Sweet Lily B. Students, Parents, and Community,

I am honored to serve as your principal for the 2024-2025 school year.  This year will be my 16th year in Fort Worth ISD.  I previously served as assistant principal at George C. Clarke Elementary for three years, data analyst and testing coordinator at Daggett Elementary for 5 years, and seven years as a classroom teacher in grades 2nd through 5th.

Lily B. Clayton is a wonderful school with a rich history.  From the annual Walkathon to the Spring Bonnet Parade, I promise to continue the traditions that are near and dear to past, present, and future sweet bees.  I commit to provide an environment of hard work and excellence.  By fostering a culture of high expectations among staff and students, I commit to carry on Lily B.’s mission and vision. I look forward to working with parents and the community to provide the best educational experience for our students.

Lastly, my commitment to the students at Lily B. is to the whole child.  We will work hard to not only meet the students’ academic needs, but to help their social and emotional needs as well.  The staff and I will strive to teach students the emotional skills they need to be successful in life and as a productive member of society.

Mission:  Lily B. Clayton, in partnership with parents and the community, will provide a nurturing environment dedicated to integrity, citizenship, and developing each child’s academic potential.

Vision: Every child…Every day!
