Years Teaching: I taught at Alice Carlson from 1978-1983 and have taught at Lily B Clayton since 1983.
Favorite Subjects to Teach: Language Arts (Reading and Writing), Science, and Math
Hobbies: Reading, Listening to Music, Writing Stories, Creating Arts and Craft Projects, Planning Lessons, Visiting Barnes & Noble for hours on end

Experience: I started teaching way back in 1999 for Grapevine-Colleyville ISD. In my sixteen years there I taught kindergarten, second and third grade. I have been with Fort Worth ISD, at Lily B. Clayton, since 2017.
Bio: I am a native Texan and have lived around the Metroplex area all my life, but graduated from Martin High School in Arlington.
I absolutely love being a teacher and couldn’t imagine doing anything else. Working with students and being able to watch their learning evolve is an amazing thing to witness, and I feel blessed to be able to be there in those everyday moments.
Hobbies: When I’m not at school I love visiting the zoo, museums, and going to outdoor festivals. I also enjoy going out and discovering new things!
Education: I attended the University of North Texas where I received my degree in Education. I have my ESL and GT certifications.
Experience: I have taught 2nd, 3rd,and 4th grade, and have been at Sweet Lily B. since 2002.
Bio: I grew up in Fort Worth and attended elementary, junior high, and high school here. I have a son, Brooks, came through Lily B. with me. My daughter, Grace has recently joined the Lily B. family. My husband is the PE teacher at Daggett Elementary. We live in Fort Worth with our two dogs and a cat. I hope I will be blessed with many more wonderful years of teaching.
Experience: I began my journey in education in 2014, after being selected as a Teach For America corps member in San Antonio, TX. I spent 3 years as a Bilingual teacher in SAISD, where I taught second and third grade. I was also extremely active in the LEGO robotics program - where we managed to become the first elementary school team from the district to make it to regionals! In 2017, I moved to Fort Worth and taught fourth grade at Bonnie Brae Elementary. Fall 2018, I decided to move to Taichung, Taiwan to spend a semester teaching abroad, and now I am so excited to come back and join the Lily B. family!
Education: I am a proud graduate of UC Berkeley (GO BEARS!). I graduated in 2010 with a BA in Political Economy. Since then, I’ve received certifications in EC-6 and Bilingual
Bio: I was born in Northern California, but spent 11 years in Southeast Asia because my father was a Mexican Diplomat. I was always passionate about education, and was thrilled to be chosen to serve as a TFA corps member after college graduation. This is my fifth year in the classroom and my fifth year in Texas - it has definitely grown on me!
Hobbies: taking my dogs to the dog park, reading, crocheting and traveling.
