Lara Bradshaw - Librarian

Education: B.S. in Early Childhood Education and Elementary Education from Texas Christian University.  Master's degree in Library Science (MLS) from Texas Woman's University.

Experience: Over the years I’ve taught all grades from Pre-K to 5th and began as librarian in 2018.  I grew up in Fort Worth and graduated from Lily B.! 

Bio: I love working with children and watching them grow and learn. I enjoy learning new things and hope to instill in my students a love for learning.

Hobbies: Some of my hobbies are reading, cooking, gardening, and TCU football-GO FROGS!

Mi'Onnah Smith - Instructional Coach

Education:  Bachelor's degree in Social Work from Texas Christian University (GO FROGS!) and a Master's degree in Professional Counseling from Grand Canyon University. 

Experience:  I have been in education for 6 years, 5 of those spent teaching kindergarten! This will be my first year as an Instructional Coach and at Lily B!

Bio: I am originally from Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. I moved to Texas to attend Texas Christian University. I loved Fort Worth that I stayed after graduating from TCU. I love traveling back to Oklahoma to spend time with my family every chance I get. One of my favorite things to do is spend time with my husband and our dog, Denim, and looking forward to making new memories with our first child that we are currently expecting!

Rebeca Fonseca - Dyslexia Teacher

Bio:  I am Rebeca Fonseca Rivera and I am the Dyslexia Interventionist at Lily B. Clayton Elementary.

I have over 14 years of experience working with elementary and middle school students. I am a certified EC-6 generalist,  bilingual and Spanish LOTE K-12 and Structured Literacy Interventionist Certification. I have also completed extensive academic language and science of reading training with Neuhaus Education.

This is my 6th year at Lily B. and I cannot wait to continue serving our school community.

Students at Lily B. who are identified with dyslexia receive multi-sensory interventions in phonemic awareness, letter recognition, decoding, spelling, fluency, comprehension, handwriting, vocabulary, and oral and written expression.

I strive to build my student's self-esteems, and to help them feel successful.  It is my privilege to be serving kids who have been identified with dyslexia at Lily B. Clayton!
