2026 Outdoor Improvement Project

At our PTA Auction in March, our community came together in an incredible way to support a long-planned initiative through the Paddles Up 2026 fundraiser. Thanks to those proceeds—along with generous contributions from parents, neighbors, and community sponsors over the past several years—this project is now fully funded, and we are ready to bring it to life.

The project will transform the existing baseball field area into a vibrant, multi-use green space. Plans include nearly 28,000 square feet of turf, a kickball field, a gaga ball pit, and additional play elements designed to encourage movement, connection, and play for students across all grade levels. A rendering of the new field is attached.

This space plays an important role in daily school life—it’s where students gather for recess, outdoor learning, and time with friends. The PTA’s investment will enhance those experiences for years to come.

Construction is scheduled to begin on June 1 and will take approximately six weeks to complete. For safety, the playground and Lily B. fields will be closed during this time.

Once the project is complete, we kindly ask for your help in caring for this new space. After-school play will be welcome; however, we kindly ask that visitors refrain from bringing pets onto the field so it can be preserved for student use.
