Education: Master's degree in Advance Literacy Instruction from Concordia University.
Experience: I have been teaching since 2005 and enjoy this group.
Bio: I have lived in Fort Worth all my life and was a former FWISD student myself. I went to Daggett Elementary, McLean Middle school and then graduated from Paschal High School. So it is very nice to look back and thank many of my teachers from this District who made a difference in my life. I am also thankful to be teaching in the Paschal pyramid where I went to school. I have been teaching first grade for seven years and enjoy the age group I teach.
Besides loving my job, I enjoy collecting children’s literature, jogging, gardening, and decorating our home. I play co-ed softball every year with friends and family. I am an only child, married and have 3 dogs. I enjoy spending time with close friends and family. My husband and I are now parents of a healthy baby girl who was born May 18, 2011.
