Donate today @ Lily B Clayton

Lily B. Clayton Elementary School serves more than 500 pre-k through fifth grade students. We love our school and our children love it, too. Each year the Lily B. PTA raises enough money to invest $200-$300 per student in academics, faculty support, school improvements, and more. Our Spring Auction is the school’s biggest annual fundraiser.

At Lily B. Clayton, we pride ourselves on being a historic neighborhood school with a strong dual language program; excellent faculty and staff; involved parents; quality academic enrichment programs such as Accelerated Reader and University Interscholastic League; extracurricular activities like Garden Club and Running Club; participation in community events like the Cowtown and Live Thankfully; and beloved traditions like Singing in the Halls and the Spring Bonnet Parade that help foster the “Sweet Lily B” spirit. Each year the Lily B. Clayton Auction generates critical funding to support an array of academic enrichments, extracurricular activities, school improvements, and faculty support.

Please visit lilybclayton.org/centennial for event information and to purchase your Centennial book now on sale!

Summer Learning and Next School Year Survey

FWISD is conducting a survey about summer learning opportunities, returning to in-person instruction next school year, and increasing learning opportunities for students. It doesn’t take long, but you are prompted to take it for each student in FWISD. You’ll need their student ID(s).

Here’s a link to the survey.

BrightBytes Technology Survey

The goal of the BrightBytes survey is to gather data on technology access, skills, and technology environment, and to better understand the connection between technology use and student achievement on our campus. This is also an opportunity for parents to express their opinions about the Chromebooks that were recently rolled out. The survey link is unique to Lily B. parents. The survey will run through April 30th.

School of Excellence Survey

The Lily B. PTA is participating in the National PTA School of Excellence program, which grows partnerships between PTAs and schools to enrich the educational experience and overall well-being of all students. National PTA requests feedback from families, administrators, and teachers at the beginning and the end of the process. The first survey, deployed in fall 2019, helped PTA and school leaders understand areas in which improvements are needed. This included more broadly communicating opportunities to plan for transitions to sixth grade and greater efforts to inform and encourage families to advocate for students on the school, local, state or national level. Through the Hive, Facebook announcements, breakout sessions after PTA meetings, and regular communication between PTA, school leaders, and parents we have worked to address these challenges this school year.

Please take a few minutes to reflect on your experiences at Lily B. and complete this survey in English or in Spanish.

Thank you in advance!
