Calling all Lily B Dad's!
Mark your calendars for Lily B.'s Fall Fundraiser!
Dear Lily B. Clayton Families,
It is with great anticipation and excitement that I write a letter of introduction as the new principal of Lily B. Clayton Elementary School. It is truly an honor to serve a school community with such great students, parents and educators.
As the daughter of an educator, I grew up understanding the importance of education and have always had a passion for teaching and learning. I graduated from the University of Northern Iowa with a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education and an emphasis in literacy. My choice of a career was an easy one and I have spent 20 years in public education. My career in FWISD began 16 years ago when I was hired to teach at McLean 6th and McLean Middle School. I am very excited to return to the Paschal Pyramid and I look forward to continuing the vision of Dr. Hughes.
As the incoming principal of Lily B. Clayton, I pledge to continue the traditions of excellence that are ingrained in the culture of the campus, and the successful partnerships with the community. It is important to me that families feel welcomed and encouraged to be part of their child’s learning experience. I look forward to meeting all of you and plan to host an open house as we get closer to the start of school. Families can feel free to contact me by email at firstname.lastname@example.org. I welcome any questions or ideas that you would like to share.

Greetings Lily B. Clayton Families!
First and foremost, I hope you are all doing well and staying safe, healthy, and ready for a well deserved summer break.
I am elated to have been assigned the position of Assistant Principal at Lily B. Clayton Elementary School!
My name is Eric Montoya, born, raised, and educated in Fort Worth, Texas. I was a student at all Fort Worth ISD schools, South Fort Worth Elementary (renamed Richard J. Wilson Elementary), J. P. Elder Middle School, High School of Medical Professions at North Side. I am a proud alum of Texas Wesleyan University, having earned both my bachelors and master’s degrees there. I currently serve as the President of the Alumni Association Board of Directors.
I currently have 4 years of experience as an assistant principal. Before becoming an assistant principal, I taught for ten years, specifically in second and third grade at Alice Carlson Applied Learning Center. I have been with Fort Worth ISD since 2001 in different capacities.
Please know that I am 100% team “sweet Lily B.”! I am ready and willing to put in the work to continue all the wonderful efforts and success at Lily B. Clayton!
