Kathy Rollings
First Grade
Education: I received by degree in Education from Texas A&M University (Gig'em!) and then my Masters in Counseling from the University of North Texas.
Experience: I started my teaching career teaching middle school. I taught both 6th and 8th grade science. I also coached volleyball, basketball, and track. This is my first year at Lily B. Clayton and my 6th year teaching. I am grateful for the opportunity to help children grow, both academically and emotionally, and I see each moment in the classroom with your children as a privilege.
Bio: I am married and have three daughters. Two of my daughters are here with me at Lily B. and my oldest continues school in the Paschal Pyramid. I love the community and traditions of Lily B. Clayton and consider it an absolute gift to teach in our neighborhood school.
Hobbies: I enjoy supporting and cheering my daughters on in their activities (ballet, basketball, and softball). I look forward to walking our dog, Biscuit, in the neighborhood with my husband each day. You may also see me running in the neighborhood. I have enjoyed running since I was a young girl and have checked off one of my bucket list items by running a marathon.
