Join us for some popsicle fun on the playground during our last Stay & Play of the school year! 

With the fifth grade trip right around the corner, we are having an important parent meeting on Wednesday May 9th at 6:30pm in the library. In the meeting, we will go over 

* the final itinerary for the trip,

* discuss policies and procedures

* and fill out required district travel forms.

We're in a pinch! Volunteers are especially needed on May 2nd during Teacher Appreciation Week, providing teachers with a 1 hour, kid-free lunch break. Volunteers will transfer and chaperone kids from homeroom classroom to cafeteria to playground and back to the classroom. Time commitment: One lunch & recess period. Calling all BoxTops! We need 150 more BoxTops to reach our goal. Pick up a collection sheet or put your BoxTops for Education in a ziploc bag with your teacher's name on it. The top 2 collecting classes for the month of February will win a popsicle party. Good luck!

The PTA will host a PTA Board Coffee & Cookie Open House on Friday, February 17th at 1:45 in the Library. This is an opportunity to talk to some of your current PTA board members and ask questions about the PTA board positions. Check your child's folder for nomination forms and position descriptions for the 2012-13 school year and turn in by Tuesday, February 21. The Cans of Love Food Drive begins on Monday, January 30th and ends on Friday, February 10th. There will be boxes in front of the classrooms to collect donations. The class bringing the most cans to support the Tarrant Area Food Bank will win a free dress pass!
