Holiday Lunch for LBC Teachers & Staff Sponsored by the 3rd Grade Parents

posted Dec 4, 2017, 11:08 AM by Elaine Tubre

Once a month, volunteers provide lunch for Lily B. Clayton staff to show how much we appreciate all their hard work. On Friday, December 15th, the third grade will sponsor a holiday themed lunch. Parents are invited to sign up for a dish or item and bring it to the Teacher’s Lounge by 10:00 AM on the 15th (homemade and store bought are welcome!). To volunteer, please sign up. Be sure and note the number of servings indicated… we don’t want to run out of food for our hard working teachers and staff.

Adopt a Panther 2017

Adopt a Panther is a volunteer based Christmas initiative similar to angel tree. The program was created after a realization that many families with older children needed assistance during the holiday season to bring gifts to their families. You may volunteer to adopt a family, be a holiday shopper, donate funds for Adopt a Panther or help spread the word.

Calling All Sweet Lily Bees

Looking for a way to help out those affected by Hurricane Harvey?

We have decided as a school to collect donations for another elementary school in Katy, Texas. Our principal, Dr. Hughes, reached out to her long time friend, Dr. Lorena Zertuche, who is the principal of Bear Creek Elementary School. Dr. Hughes learned that the school and community suffered significant flooding. We are collecting gift cards to assist the staff, faculty, families, and children of the school. If you would like to send donations we are asking specifically for gift cards (Wal-Mart, Target, grocery, etc). Any amount is appreciated! You can drop the gift cards at the front office or with your child’s teacher.
