Marvelous Monday

Last Monday of the School Year

Volunteers & Caring Parents Needed

This event is for our kids!  Its success depends on your help!

What is Marvelous Monday?

Marvelous Monday began many years ago (sometimes knows as Terrific Tuesday due to Memorial Day) as the brainchild of Lily B. parents. Ordinary people with no formal teaching experience lead workshops for cultural, arts, and enrichment activities. You don't need to be an expert or a professional. The idea is to expose the students to skills, hobbies, music, food, etc., that they might not otherwise have the opportunity to enjoy.  These workshops are meant to be fun, informal ways to share your talents and interests.

This year we need 1 parent to move through the periods with their child's class.  We also need parent volunteers to lead classes.  On that day, we will need you from 8:30 to 2:00 and we will provide lunch.  You can also sign up for the morning or afternoon shift.

MM Schedule

The students will rotate through 5 classes during the day.  The students will move together as a class through 5 classes in the following areas:   sport, cultural, learning, arts & crafts, and fun.  Students in 4th and 5th grade will have 2 choice classes during the day.
