Experience:  I began teaching in 2007 as a CATE teacher in Lewisville, TX for grades 9th-12th.  I have taught at Lily B. Clayton for the past three years as a special education teacher.  I come into the teaching profession with over 15 years professional work and community experience.

Bio:  With the knowledge of my background, it is my hope that the information helps to know that I put forth great effort in my teaching through personal learning.  I teach because I love to.  I am a life-learner and plan to instill that passion into each of my students.

Personally, I have three beautiful sons.  My oldest, Taj, is a sophomore at Angelo State University.  He is a Studio Art major and has been working closely with our own Amber Bailey on a variety of Lily B. and Fort Worth art projects.  My second oldest is Tariq and he is a junior in high school.  He is an AP student who is actively involved in his school's Media Tech program.  My youngest, Tyson, is a bright fourth grader.  I am a proud mother.  I hope to bring lots of positive energy and academic rigor to the classroom!
