Experience: I began teaching in 2007 as a CATE teacher in Lewisville, TX for grades 9th-12th. I have taught at Lily B. Clayton for the past three years as a special education teacher. I come into the teaching profession with over 15 years professional work and community experience.
Bio: With the knowledge of my background, it is my hope that the information helps to know that I put forth great effort in my teaching through personal learning. I teach because I love to. I am a life-learner and plan to instill that passion into each of my students.
Personally, I have three beautiful sons. My oldest, Taj, is a sophomore at Angelo State University. He is a Studio Art major and has been working closely with our own Amber Bailey on a variety of Lily B. and Fort Worth art projects. My second oldest is Tariq and he is a junior in high school. He is an AP student who is actively involved in his school's Media Tech program. My youngest, Tyson, is a bright fourth grader. I am a proud mother. Experience: This will be my third year of teaching after having graduated from TCU! While at TCU I had the opportunity to teach in multiple schools within FWISD and had experience in grade levels K-5 as well as special education. Bio: I have lived in Fort Worth almost all of my life. I love spending time with my friends and family and coming home to my sweet kitty, Chassy. I also love going to cheer on the frogs at TCU football games! Bio: I grew up in the small town of Fairfield, Texas with my parents and brother. While in high school, I was a peer tutor at the elementary school. My mentor teacher there encouraged me to later become a teacher. I'm so lucky to have found a home here at Lily B.
