I began her career at Fort Worth ISD in 1999 as an 8th grade math teacher at Forest Oak Middle School. I then served as an Assistant Principal at Springdale Elementary School from 2000-2005, and as Principal at Bonnie Brae Elementary School from 2005-2011.

I am excited about the opportunity to work with the staff, students, parents and community of Lily B. Clayton.

Suzy Parchman - Librarian

I earned a Bachelors in English from UT Austin and a Masters in Library Science from Texas Woman’s University. I am certified as an elementary teacher, a teacher of English as a second language and as a K-12 librarian and administrator.

Experience: I have worked in FWISD since 1990—teaching grades 1,3,4, and 5 at Lily B. Clayton and serving as librarian at South Hi Mount Elementary from Fall of 2004 through Spring of 2007 before returning to Clayton as librarian in Fall of 2008.

Bio: As a faculty member and a parent of three former Lily B. students, I treasure our school’s rich sense of history and tradition. I appreciate the opportunity to serve such a vital academic community in such a beautiful spot. Our teachers, students, parents and administrators are just some of the reasons I LOVE Sweet Lily B!
