Education:
  Bachelor of Science - Elementary Education from Texas Wesleyan University.  Masters in Reading from TCU.
 
Years Teaching: 33 (28 years at Lily B. plus 5 years at Alice Carlson)
 
Favorite Subjects to Teach:  Language Arts (Reading and Writing), Science, and Math
 
Hobbies:  Reading, Listening to Music, Writing Stories, Creating Arts and Craft Projects, Planning Lessons, Visiting Barnes & Noble for hours on end
 
 

Emily Roberts

Experience:  Before coming to Lily B., I taught for 5 years at Alice D. Contreras. I began teaching after first coming from the "working" world. I worked for John Peter Smith for 2 years prior to my alternative certificate. The 2011-12 school year will be my 2nd year at Lily B. Before coming to Lily B., I taught for 5 years at Alice D. Education:  I attended the University of Oklahoma where I obtained my BA in Business Management.

Bio:  I have always had such love for children. My love for children goes all the way back to high school. I enjoy watching them learn and observe what is around them. I have just gotten married and am very excited about beginning a new job as Mrs. Roberts. My free time is spent playing tennis with my wonderful lady's tennis team or spending time with friends and family.

Doris Cook

Education:  M.S. Elementary Education - Prairie View A&M University, undergraduate/graduate degree; certified in Analytical Thinking from Texas Wesleyan; certified in Gifted and Talented from Baylor University
 
Experience:  I have worked in FWISD since 1974 and have been teaching at Sweet Lily B. since 1977.  I have taught 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th and driver's Ed.
 
Bio:  I have two children and three beautiful grandchildren.
 
  

Yesenia Soto

Experience:  I am so excited to begin a new school year as a second grade teacher at Lily B. Clayton. I look forward to working with the staff and community and being a part of this great school. This may be my first year teaching at Sweet Lily B, however, I recently taught at Kirkpatrick Elementary for two years.

Education: I graduated from Le Tourneau University with my bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education. I believe in being a lifelong learner and I am working on attaining my graduate degree in the next few years.

Bio: I have been married twelve years and have two children. My daughter Izabella Merced is six years old and will be in first grade. I also have a two year old, Andres Jude, who is into everything. I love spending time with my family. We like going to art and science museums, the Fort Worth Zoo, and the local parks. I also love teaching, reading books, dancing, and riding my bike.
