Education:  I have an M.Ed and BS in Education from TCU.  I am certified to teach Early Childhood through 4th grade and ESL. 

 

Experience:  I taught at First Presbyterian Church Day School while in graduate school at TCU.  I have been teaching Pre-K at Lily B. Clayton since 2005.

 

Bio:  I am originally from Indiana and my family moved to El Paso when I was in high school.  I loved Fort Worth so much that I stayed after graduating from TCU.  One of my favorite things to do is travel!  I did half of my student teaching in The Netherlands, where I learned a lot about teaching in other countries.  I am also very involved with McKinney Memorial Bible Church where I serve on leadership in the Young Adults ministry and in the nursery.  I have also been a part of a short-term mission team to Florence, Italy.

 

I love teaching the Baby Bees at Lily B. Clayton!  I find that teaching Pre-K is such a joy.  Not only is it such a pivotal time in their lives, but it's at that age they love you no matter what.  They learn so much and are ready to take on the rest of their educational career.  Feel free to stop by and say hello!
