Elizabeth English - Math

I have a Bachelors of Science in Early Childhood Education and a Masters of Educational Administration from Texas Christian University.  Go Frogs!

Experience:  I have been teaching since 1998.  I have taught in HEB and Forth Worth ISD.

Bio:  I have an adventurous son named Jack, an outspoken and lively daughter named Isabel, and a wonderfully understanding husband named Travis. We met at TCU. We enjoy being outside, watching movies, cycle class, and going to TCU football games! I like to relax with a good book and a nice cup of tea. I love teaching at Lily B!

Kevie Mercurio - Language Arts

Education:  I attended Texas Tech University and The University of Texas El Paso and have two bachelor's degrees, one in Design Communications and one in Elementary Education.  I have one semester left working towards my Master's Degree in Gifted Education from The University of Texas Pan American.  Not sure when I will finish this!

Experience:  I started my teaching career as a 1st grade teacher at All Saints Freida Tait School then as a bilingual for the Socorro ISD, in El Paso, Texas.  After three wonderful years in 1st grade, I moved to the 5th grade at the urging of a terrific principal who had an amazing gift of maximizing peoples talents and gifts.  I was hired by her to open a brand new school and spent twelve years in the Soccoro school district being part of many innovative programs and projects at the campus, district and city levels.  I moved to Fort Worth ISD in 2006 when my husband took a position at Cook Children's Hospital and have been very happy teaching my favorite subject:  reading.  Opening the world of literature and the power of reading is my passion.

Bio:  I married my soul mate Kevin in 1989.  We have two terrific children.  Anthony, a Paschal HS graduate.  He is very involved with JROTC, video games, working at ACE hardware and cars.  Our daughter Mimmi, also a Paschal graduate, is very creative, loves school, swimming, music and her friends.  My favorite food is artichokes.  My favorite way to spend an afternoon is lounging about with a good book or magazine.  My favorite way to spend the summer is hanging out with my family sunning in a chase at the side of the pool or the ocean reading.
