Lily B Teacher Workroom

On Friday, November 17th, I invite you to share some of your fall favorite recipes. Parents are invited to sign up for a dish or item and bring it to the Teacher's Lounge by 10:00 AM on the 17th. To volunteer, please do one of the following: Alternatively, if it's more convenient to chip in money towards the purchase of one of the items, please place your contribution in the PTA box with my name on it (checks can be payable to me, as I acquire the food that is needed, or to the PTA with teacher appreciation in the memo line). Thanks for all of your help!

Holiday Clayton Corner

Holiday present

It’s time to get into the holiday spirit! Please sign up to help students purchase gifts for everyone on their list!

Volunteers are crucial to help the store run smoothly and make sure every student chooses the perfect gifts for their loved ones!

The Holiday Shop is a fundraiser created to help with the publication of the Clayton yearbook, making it affordable for everyone! The shop is run by Lily B students in grades 2-5, but there is a need for parent volunteers to help out in managing the store. Store hours are 8:30-3:00.

  • Live Thankfully
OUR SCHOOL is partnering once again with Live Thankfully in feeding families this Thanksgiving. With your help, we will give thanksgiving dinners and groceries to families in need. These families are adopted through OUR SCHOOL and other Fort Worth schools. (BECAUSE OF STUDENTS LIKE YOU...last year, we were able to give 2500 bags of groceries along with thanksgiving dinners to over 600 families in need!) Here is how you can help:

    FOOD DRIVE: October 30 - November 16th.
Bring non-perishable goods to your school. The top 2 classes receive an ice-cream party on Kelley Orthodontics! (Food items to consider: all canned veggies, canned soups, canned meat, boxed potatoes, bagged rice, dry pasta, boxed macaroni & cheese)

PARTY WITH A PURPOSE: Sunday Nov. 19th.
Join your school family at Southwest Christian School's preparatory campus to bag these groceries to give to our adopted families. FW Food Trucks will be present for dinner. Face painting, clowns, and music provided!

Help us pass out these groceries & Thanksgiving dinners to our adopted families in need. Location: Christ Chapel Bible Church.

  • Paschal Harvest Project
    Adopt a Panther 2017

Adopt a Panther is a volunteer based Christmas initiative similar to angel tree. The program was created after a realization that many families with older children needed assistance during the holiday season to bring gifts to their families. You may volunteer to adopt a family, be a holiday shopper, donate funds for Adopt a Panther or help spread the word.

Click here to learn more about the Paschal Harvest Project's Adopt a Panther 2017.

Email Maria Manks to sign up and volunteer.
