Recent Announcements

  • STAAR Test adjusted lunch schedule
The State of Texas Assessments of Academic Readiness test also referred to as the STAAR test will be given to our 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade students on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday April 20th, 21st, and 22nd. In an effort to maintain test security on the day of the STAAR test, volunteers, visitors, and parents of students in grades PK-5th are not allowed to join their children for lunch in the cafeteria on those three days nor visit the school. We encourage parent support and appreciate parents that take the time to volunteer, visit, and eat with their children during their very busy schedules; however, some students will not be finished testing by lunchtime and we need to keep a secure testing environment in place. The students and teachers have been working hard in all content areas and now is the time for our students to show what they have learned.

Once again, we are asking that all parents refrain from volunteering, visiting, or eating lunch with their children on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday of next week. Thank you for your understanding and support.
