  • 2nd Grade Easter Egg Hunt and Picnic
    Friday, April 18th is the 2nd Grade Easter Egg Hunt and Picnic. Second is the last grade that students at Lily B. get to participate in an egg hunt so in order to make it fun and memorable the entire grade gets to walk to Newby Park.   • 5th Grade Trip Parent Meeting
    5th grade parents:
    Please make plans to attend the parent meeting for the Austin/San Antonio trip on Thursday, May 8th at 6:15 p.m. in the cafeteria or Monday, May 12th at 8:30 a.m. in the auditorium. We will be discussing the schedule for the trip, answer questions and completing required district forms for the trip.

    A parent chaperone meeting will be held on Thursday, May 8th at 5:45 p.m. in the library.

  • Teacher Appreciation Week: April 28-May 2
    Lily B. Clayton is planning a week full of special events to celebrate our terrific teachers, and we’d love for you to participate in any way you can.  Jennifer Ledbetter will contact all volunteers to coordinate logistics. If you have any questions, call or e-mail Jennifer (; 8178457260).

    Monday, April 28 – Breakfast of Champions in the Teachers' LoungeDeliver breakfast goods to the Teachers’ Lounge by 7:30AM. Sign up here.

    Tuesday, April 29 – Thank You Notes From Students and Parents
    Deliver a home-made thank you note or a token gift of appreciation to your teacher. 

    Wednesday, April 30 – Give Them a Break!
    Provide teachers with a 1 hour, kid-free lunch break. Volunteers will transfer and chaperone kids from classroom to cafeteria to playground and back to the classroom. Time commitment: One Lunch & Recess period. Sign up here.

    Thursday, May 1 – Cinco de Mayo–themed Lunch For Teachers
    We’ve hosted feasts by grade through the year, so let’s do a big SCHOOLWIDE finale. Requesting $5 donation towards this special surprise lunch! No signup, just turn in $5 in an envelope in your child's folder to Jennifer Ledbetter. 

    Friday, May 2– Secret Pal Gift Delivery
    Parents enrolled in the LBC Secret Pals program deliver gifts to their pals on this date.

  • Spring Bonnet Parade - April 17
    The Spring Bonnet Parade will be help on Thursday, April 17 at 8:30am.  There will be school on Friday, April 18 to make up for a snow day.

    There auction catalog will be delivered today (Monday, March 24)!  It will only be delivered to those that bought tickets.  You can also view it online here.  If you haven't bought tickets, they are still available by clicking here!

  • Spring Picnic Lunch
    PreK and KG parents, please sign up to bring something for lunch for the teachers on Friday, Mar. 28.  To sign up, click here.  Each month one grade level is invited to provide lunch for all of the faculty.

  • Dual Language Enrichment Application
    Applications for the Dual Language Enrichment program at Lily B will be accepted from Feb.18 through March 7, 2014.  This is for incoming Kindergartners for the 2014-15 school year only.  Space is limited for opt-in students so the application process is by lottery.  You can print out the form here or pick one up in the school office.
